What is Coaching ?

Coaching is to accompany people for a short period of time. It has a specific duration and objective and is meant to unleash the potential and resources of the person, group or organisation whilst providing a framework that facilitates transformation.

It helps to take a step back and give meaning to a path or to even re-define a more global life project. It provides the necessary support to focus, become efficient and achieve your objectives while respecting your own values.

Socrates, precursor to the maieutic – the art of giving birth to the human spirit - became the father of coaching with his universal claim «know yourself».

The purpose of coaching is to make a pact with yourself to change in order to progress towards new professional or personal horizons with less stress, less suffering and more pleasure.

Coaching is based on the following principles

​

  • The individual or group has talents that are unique

​

  • Ultimately, the individual is responsible for his own success, whether to achieve a particular objective or manage his life in general

​

  • He has great capacities, often dormant, that need only to be awaken, developed and accomplished

​

  • He has all the necessary resources to succeed in his personal or professional approach
